Why Buy Travel Insurance?

Travel is one of life's great pleasures. You will be making a big investment towards a perfect trip. Even if all details are carefully planned, things can go wrong due to unforeseen circumstances. Types of Insurance

There are two types of Travel Insurance that should be considered:

1. Insuring the investment in your trip.
   This protects you against having to cancel or interrupt your trip for a variety of reasons, such as, health, family emergency, job related emergency, home emergency, all of which require you to remain home or prematurely return home during your trip.
2. Insuring yourself and family during your trip.
   This primarily covers medical care, emergency evacuation, and hospitalization if anything happens to you or your family during your trip. This type of insurance also covers lost baggage.

We have found that the Gold Plan offered by Travel Guard is an excellent and very comprehensive plan which covers both of these types.
