Travel and Charitable Giving

Some of you have asked about making charitable contributions in conjunction with your African Safari. In fact, some of you have made personal charitable excursions, delivering school supplies to local schools.

We have now established a relationship with a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity called Pets Providing Pedals. It is a charity that provides bicycles to children in rural Tanzania who live far from their school. To learn more about this charity, click here. Pets Providing Pedals will use 100% of your donations to purchase new bicycles.  To assist with their economy, all bicycles will be purchases in Tanzania.  All operating costs associated with Pets Providing Pedals are personally paid for by the founders of Pets Providing Pedals.

If you choose to contribute, just let us know and we will donate $100 (which is the cost of one bicycle) for each person in your safari party that we book. There is no minimum contribution. In response to your donation, Pets Providing Pedals will provide you with a receipt that can be used for tax purposes. Pets Providing Pedals will also provide all donors with a certificate that contains a photo of your student with their new bicycle along with the student's name, age, and plans for the future.
